Sean Walsh ratified as Kerry Ladies Chairman
The re-organization of the Kerry Ladies Gaelic Football Association continued apace last night when former Kerry and Munster GAA chairman Sean Walsh from Moyvane was ratified as the new chairman of the KLGFA to universal approval. This appointment presents Kerry Ladies with a huge opportunity to get its systems and procedures renewed and restructured with a new voice and what a voice.
This is a huge coup for Kerry Ladies and credit must go to the committee for having the confidence and ambition to go after such a huge name to lead them forward and away from the controversies which have plagued the organization over the last couple of months.
Mr Walsh addressed the meeting and emphasized the need for clubs and delegates to re-focus their energies in ensuring that the organizations good works now take the headlines, he once again asked that the people who matter within Kerry Ladies rollup their sleeves and support the County Board in both action and word.
From a North Kerry point of view this is a very exciting progression for our game and all involved at this level I am sure wish Mr Walsh the best and we look forward to being lead by a man who is known in GAA circles for his organizational skills and his inspirational leadership.
